Florence for Foodies

On a recent research trip to Florence, Mia and I discovered a great new tour to offer. We took an amazing tour of the Pitti Palace treasures with our art historian guide, Elena. She focused on food symbolism in the paintings. It was really facinating to discover you could pick any theme - food, fashion, hairstyle, animals, etc and have a comprehensive tour around this subject!

We then went to new friend and Florence Foodie, Paolo's house for a gourmet lunch in his home in the center of Florence. It was really nice to sit around the table in his kitchen, drinking wine, talking and sharing lunch together.

Combining the Pitti Palace tour with lunch at Paolo's was a wonderful way to spend 4 hours off the beaten path.

We are excited to offer new art tours and lunch with Paolo to all of our clients going to Florence
